You will never guess what happened to me today. Well first my friend James came to see me today as planned. We met Jarin and decided to go eat lunch at Stoby's. While we were there, we were laughing and talking and maybe being a little too loud. There was this woman sitting at the table adjacent to us with her two young girls. We were talking about everything imaginable, so we were kinda worried that the kids could hear us. That would just set us off in a laughing spree. We're silly I know, but it's fun.

Anyway the woman got up with her kids and went to go pay. On the way out the door, she stopped in front of our table. We were like, oh no, she must have heard us talking and was offended by us. We were kinda ashamed, BUT that's not what she said. She told us that we reminded her of her and her two best friends from when she was in college. She asked us if were were theater majors, and we told her that we were all writers. She said that now she writes greeting cards for a living. We thought that was cool. So then she said that we brought back some really good memories and she just thought it was great we were such good friends.

Then she informed us that she had paid for our entire meal! Then she told us that when we were older and made a trip back to Conway were she went to college like she had done, that we could do the same for some other college students like ourselves. She told us to pay it forward.

We were seriously shocked. We just sat there. I was about to take a bite of my sandwich, and I just held it in my hand for like five minutes. I mean we all kinda had goosebumps and chills. I mean what are the odds it would happen to us and in Arkansas no less. So we made a pact to return when we are older together to pay it forward. Isn't that amazing? I feel so happy now. I'm going to have a smile on my face for the next three days at least. Maybe there is hope for humanity. Thanks for letting me see that.

I've been on a weird "let me post in every journal/blog/thing I own just because I can" kick lately. It was about time I got around to xanga.

Anyway...I reside mostly at Deadjournal or Facebook  .

Check me out there, okay?
